Explore Coastlines
This compact yet rugged watercraft can be equipped with an outboard combustion engine of up to 10 horsepower for the Laguna 290 or 15 horsepower for the Laguna 330. A belt loop on the floor near the transom can securely hold an external gas tank with a capacity of up to 6 gallons. These features allow you to explore a wider variety of destinations and venture further.
Plow Through Surf
The bow of our Laguna catamaran is designed like a sled, allowing it to glide smoothly over obstacles. This unique shape, combined with the extra volume in the floor and sponsons, provides an abundance of buoyancy, ensuring a dry and stable ride even in rough conditions. Additionally, the canopy of our bimini shade is made from waterproof PVC and can be folded forward to serve as a spray and wind shield for added protection. With its raised bow, wider beam, and larger sponsons, our Laguna is arguably the driest boat in its inflatable class.
Land Launch
Unmatched in its durability, the sponsons are protected by 2 layers of military grade PVC and a 3rd layer of extra-wide, reinforcing rubstrake (the kind found on the bottom of river rafts). Confidently beach your boat and step through the bow for a safe and stable passage to and from the shoreline. Furthermore, this design is favored by our feline friends.
Rediscover What Matters Most
Beyond a means of transportation, the Laguna is designed to empower our customers to cherish and create more of the moments that matter most. It inspires us to seek experiences that reconnect us with nature, our loved ones, and our passions. Whether you're exploring sea life along California’s coast, discovering your new favorite surf break, making an unforgettable memory with friends & family, watching wild horses in Virginia, or anything in between, the Laguna catamaran is ready for the adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does water splash in?
This is the most common concern for inflatable catamarans with an open bow. Fortunately, when the weight is properly distributed on the vessel, the catamaran design can be significantly more seaworthy and dry than competing dinghy styles. If the weight is concentrated towards the front, it hinders the boat's ability to rise and overcome swells. However, when the weight is evenly distributed or slightly favors the stern, passengers will enjoy a remarkably dry and pleasant ride. The boat's upward-sloping rocker near the bow helps it rise smoothly over incoming swells and wakes.
Is the engine included?
An outboard engine is not included, though our catamarans are compatible with most common electric, propane & gas powered engines. Variables such as the body of water, number of passengers, travel range, and other factors will influence the type of outboard engine you will want to use. Feel welcome to reach out to us if you would like any recommendations.
What is in included?
The Catamaran Kits include a bimini canopy, two collapsible aluminum oars, two EVA wrapped bench seats, hand air pump, a repair kit and a wheeled carrying bag for convenient transportation and storage.
How are these shipped?
The Inflatable Catamaran Kit is shipped by FedEx Ground or FedEx International Priority. Custom & bulk orders will have shipping rates quoted prior to shipping.
Can you trailer the boat to transport in inflated?
Yes, some customers choose to keep their Laguna catamaran inflated for the whole boating season and prefer transporting it by trailer. There are many trailers for dinghies and small inflatables available online, as well as at local stores like West Marine and Bass Pro Shops. We recommend two CE Smith trailers for our models: the CE48810 for the Laguna 290 and the CE48870 for the Laguna 330.
Can the catamarans be registered?
Yes, our hull numbers are recognized by the USCG and can be registered with the DMV.
How do I register my catamaran?
Simply submit your Bill of Sale (Copy of Receipt/Proof) & your Manufacturers Statement of Origin (Download Here) to the DMV to apply for your registration numbers.
Does it need to be registered?
Yes, if you intend to use an outboard motor. All motorized vessels that operate on public waterways must be titled and registered.
How long does it take to assemble?
The catamaran kit takes only 15 to 20 minutes to assemble. It consists of 4 chambers in the sponsons inflated to .25 BAR / 3.5 PSI & 1 chamber in the floor inflated to .7 BAR / 10.5 PSI. Additionally, our available electric pump accessory with auto-stop & a digital gauge makes inflating & deflating as easy as pressing a button. Click here to view the Assembly Instructions.
